Hello everyone!
Wish you all a beautiful and creative week. Enjoy a Happy Spring Season!
Today, I’m sharing one more mixed media tag that I created, as part of
my experimenting with different materials and techniques.
This time, I was inspired by industrial and building elements. I wanted
to imitate an old copper piping net, placed up on a distressed and dirty wall.
You will find a list of supplies at the end of this post.
The quote on the tag is from Tim Holtz’s Idea-ology Quote Chips, and I truly
feel that there is possibility everywhere, in everyone and everything, to
evolve, to become better, to find a purpose, to transform!
In this project, I chose to work with DecoArt Antiquing Creams and Media
Misters.
As you see in the video, I sprayed the misters directly on the
antiquing creams, without first sealing them. However, I didn’t end up with a
muddy color. Instead, I noticed that all the layers of color were preserved so
beautifully and gave me a result I very much liked!
I really hope you like it and if you do, don’t forget to give me thumbs
up and subscribe to my YouTube channel.
Stay tuned, because more process videos are coming up!
Thank you for visiting my blog!
Until next time,
Be Brave, Be Who You Want to Be!
