For this event, I chose to share a project where I'm showing how to build a multi layer background, by combining different types of pastes. The result is urban grunge and I incorporated into it a holiday flair, by putting warm fairy lights into the bulbs.

I’m so happy to be back to share with you some crafty news after such a long time.

Today starts the Winter Fairies YouTube Hop.

A beautiful collaboration of 12 artists from all over the world, sponsored by Fabrika Decoru, a Ukrainian company that produces a wide variety of craft supplies.

In this amazing event, 12 artists are sharing winter and christmas themed projects with process videos. You’ll have the opportunity to see many different techniques on how to use mixed media supplies in order to alter an object and make it beautiful but also keep it functional!

For this hop I chose to alter a house shaped shadow box and make it look like a christmas decorated home!
