Destination Unknown - Mixed Media Tag

Hello everyone!

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with different materials and techniques.
It’s been a period of great inspiration for me and I’ve been working on many projects simultaneously.

Mostly, I have focused on exploring textures and how to create them with a variety of mediums.

Today, I would like to share with you a mixed media tag, inspired by Agatha Christie’s novel "Destination Unknown".

The arch on the tag is a gate, through which the traveler reaches new undiscovered worlds, full of mystery and excitement.

For this project I worked with a wide range of DecoArt products. You can find  a full list of supplies at the end of this post.

My main goal was to create a texture similar to stone for the gate, and also tried to mimic the look of Arabic mosaics, where the blue color is dominant.

In addition, I used some embellishments with a copper patina effect, on which I’ve been experimenting and will soon make a video about it.

I really hope you enjoy this project and if you do, give me thumbs up and subscribe to my YouTube channel for more videos!
