Hello everyone!
Today I’m sharing a mixed media project, my entry for Graphic 45 October Challenge #G45DarkSide.
Totally Wicked
As a base I used the backside of a white canvas. It measures 11,5 x 11,5 inches and it is 3/4 inch deep.
1. I applied a coat of Decoart Media Black Gesso and dried with a heat gun. I went over the clocks stencil with Decoart Texture Sand, and the gears stencil with Decoart Texture Crackle, overlapping, a little, the sand paste. All around the frame I glued crumpled tissue paper. I painted some parts of the canvas with Americana Decor Chalky Finish Rose Gold. I let everything dry naturally.
2. I mixed Traditions Transparent Yellow Iron Oxide with Traditions Extender and applied it to the whole canvas. While the paint still wet, I randomly sprayed wit Media Shimmer Mister Yellow. I then heat set the paint.
3. I applied a coat of Media Antiquing Cream English Red Oxide and went over the gears with Carbon Black Antiquing Cream. When the antiquing creams were completely dry, I used a damp cloth, to rub it off.
4. I sealed the antiquing creams with Americana Decor Ultra Matte Varnish.
Products used for this project were purchased from scrapsnpieces.gr
I really hope you like it!

For the backgoround and the frame I wanted to create a variety of textures.

Then I accented some parts of the canvas by using Decoart Media Fluid Cobalt Turquoise Hue and Taditions Quinacridone Gold.
I painted the vials with Ranger Alcohol Inks and sprayed inside them with Pentart Mirror Mist.
I decorated with lots of cutouts from different Graphic 45 Paper Collections:
Steampunk Spells, An Eerie Tale, Time to Flourish, Enchanted Forest
I also used a key and a keyhole from Graphic 45 Decorative Hardware and Prima Marketing Paper Flowers.
