Hello everyone!
Today I would like to present you my dt project for
Daily ART for Valentine’s Day!
It’s a project dedicated to Love. Strong, Passionate and Unconditional Love.
Sometime ago, I was watching a video, by my
favorite crafter Mark Montano, where he
was making a Frida Khalo shrine. So I did some Google search about Mexican
shrines and patterns and colors and all that inspired me to create a “Love
Shrine”.
To construct my shrine, I attached a hardboard
bookmark on each side of a hardboard
tag, using craft hinges. I combined heart
cutouts in different, to create my focal point and to embellish the closure
of the shrine.
I created a vintage style background by mixing
different shades of patinas.
Then, I painted the flowers with one-stroke method, by mostly using vintage paints. I
decorated the outside with gold stencil paste.
